Devon's First Bibbulmun Hike

We woke to a beautiful overcast and cool day!

Time to take Devon out for his first Bibbulmun hike! We packed a picnic and took a small mini-hike (3km return) to Hewitt's Hill campsite from an access point where the track crosses the road.

I carried Devon in the Ergo carrier on the way to the campsite, and Nick took the picnic supplies. We saw lots of other people out on the trail, including one woman who had walked all the way from Albany (it took her 49 days, and this would be her last day).

We ate our picnic, and Devon had a quick feed. I signed Devon's name in the logbook, so maybe one day in the future he can look in the book and see his entry.

Nick carried Devon on the way back, and it wasn't long before he fell fast asleep pressed against Nick's chest.
